About
I was drawn to art from a very early age, earning my first award for a painting of a flamingo at eight years old, but didn't truly discover the joy of creating until later in life.

Born in Surrey, I relocated to Cambridge in 1991 and now live with my family of two daughters and two cats. Following a twenty year career in banking whilst bringing up my, then young, children, I took up the 'Watercolour Challenge' at a weekly class. It was then I rediscovered my love for painting.

Since 2015, I have exhibited in the Cambridgeshire area, with works on display at Burwash Manor and The Stove Café, and have participated numerous times in Artists at Home.

Working primarily in watercolour and ink, I favour a loose, contemporary style, inspired by the local birds, beasts, flora and fauna of The Fens. I've also recently taken to acrylics, creating zingy and atmospheric landscapes.

I am open for commissions, so do get in touch and I will create a bespoke piece for your wishes. Past requests have included pet portraits, local landmarks, home portraits, and new baby gifts.
